Christchurch Golf Marrowthon® 2009
Clearwater Golf Club October 2009 The 2008 Golf Marrowthon will follow the established tradition of playing at the beautiful Clearwater Golf Club in Christchurch. Cantabrians love the 100 Hole Challenge and in 2007 raised an amazing $100,000! The Leukaemia & Blood Foundation hope golfers will once again swing into action to get behind this great event for an even greater cause. The Clearwater Golf Club is a par 72 championship course. Its home to the HSBC NZ PGA Championship. Designed by John Darby in consultation with New Zealand golfing legend, Sir Bob Charles, the course combines elements of links golf inspired by the great Scottish courses with parkland golf, more reminiscent of Florida.
