Well, another Marrowthon is behind us, and what brave folks this years golfers were too. There they were, out in the horizontal rain and gusting winds, bold and uncomplaining, even a few finishing as the thunderstorms started! A few records broken too, with the completion of this Marrowthon well over $300,000 has now been raised over 3 Marrowthons. Thanks to all the players and their fundraising and to all their sponsors.

Milton Jennings from Fidelity Life breaks into the record books raising nearly $18,000 for his 130 hole golfing! We have also had over 100 players who have now completed the Marrowthon over the last 3 years. Our sporting celebrities did well too with Emma Keeling completing the 100 then back to work for Sports Tonight at TV3. Marc Ellis was part of the day and Davyn Nola New Zealand’s longest driver ploughed through the challenge.
